Young Playmakers Summer Theatre Camp

Festival Theatre’s Young Playmakers Summer Theatre Camps offer an exciting and immersive theatre experience for youth. In just five days, participants engage in a fast-paced, intensive program where they rehearse and produce a theatrical performance. Through expert-led instruction, young performers develop essential theatre skills, including stage presence, voice projection, movement, and character development. This camp is perfect for any young theatre enthusiast looking to explore the world of performance in a fun, supportive, and professional environment. Whether they are first-time performers or seasoned young actors, Young Playmakers provides an unforgettable week of learning, creativity, and performance magic.

Have a story to tell? This innovative camp invites young performers to collaborate, create, and perform an original piece of theatre from scratch! Through improvisation, storytelling exercises, and ensemble work, campers will develop their own script and characters, shaping a unique production that reflects their ideas, voices, and imagination. A perfect camp for those who love to think outside the box and explore the endless possibilities of theatre!

Wings, Wit and Wonder: A theatre experience for young Dragons and their Rider

A special camp for all ages, this creative theatre experience invites young actors to explore the world of dragons, myths, and legends! Using costumes, props, dance and characterization, participants craft their own unique Dragon characters and the universe they live in. For anyone who likes 'Wings of Fire', 'Fourth Wing' or any other Dragon series, this camp is for you!
