PictureThe Fiddle Masters will perform at Festival Theatre on June 19 at 8:00 PM
After a full line up since the start of the New Year, Festival Theatre’s 2015 Music Series continues with plenty of events for the second half of the year.  Brian Wicklund is a Festival favorite and has been on Festival’s stage with The Barley Jacks and The Fiddle Masters.

Brian Wicklund has been an integral part of the acoustic music scene for decades. As a teenager, he won dozens of fiddle contests and has toured internationally with Stoney Lonesome, Judith Edelman Band, Kathy Kallick Band, Chris Stuart Band, and with Brother Mule. He is a busy studio musician and producer with dozens of projects to his credit. Brian wrote the best-selling American Fiddle Method published by Mel Bay and is in constant demand as a teacher worldwide.

On June 19th at 8:00 PM Festival welcomes back The Fiddle Masters with Brian Wicklund. St. Croix Valley native and internationally-known fiddler Brian Wicklund has hosted his wildly successful American Fiddle Camps in Stillwater, MN for the past seven years.  He brings in master musicians from around the country to teach at his camp.  Together they perform a concert of enormous talent, variety and fun.  In 2011 and 2014 this show performed to sold-out audience’s and was one of the highlights of the seasons.  This year includes Brian Wicklund, Scottish fiddler Katie McNally, bluegrass fiddler Shauncey Ali, Appalachian fiddler Emily Schaad, guitarist Flynn Cohan, mandolin player Ben Winship, and bassist Kevin Rowe.
