All are welcome to the Elbow Room for a fun evening with food, drinks, and your favorite acting company and guest artists, who specialize in bringing a humorous, jaded, sardonic and/or satiric look at romance. This occasion marks Festival’s fifth annual Valentine’s evening special with music by Nancy Conger and improvisational comedy and performance by Jackie Johnson, Andrew Benson, Seth Kaltwasser and other friends of the theatre.
To win a prize, all are invited to enter the poetry contest—write a sonnet, haiku, limerick or free verse and get it to the theatre by Monday, February 10. Check the website for details on submitting poetry, and get creative!
The news from Festival’s Act II Café is that some new dessert wines will be brought in, along with a selection of specialty desserts: Pear Bread Pudding with Salted Caramel/Bourbon Sauce, White Chocolate-Grand Marnier Mousse, and French Silk pie for $7 per serving. Café staff and volunteers are also offering table service for this event.
Come prepared to laugh, flirt and propose to your favorite love! Tickets are selling quickly at $15 per person, and can be purchased online, by calling the box office, or at the door. Reservations are recommended as space is limited in the club-style Elbow Room.
