Amery Regional Medical Center, Chateau St. Croix Winery and Vineyard, Edina Realty, Royal Credit Union and Thrivent Financial have all accepted the invitation to be sponsors of Festival Theatre’s 2014 season of professional theatre and music, and the board of directors and leadership team wish to publically thank these corporations for their generosity.
As a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, Festival Theatre is eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable gifts from individuals and corporations alike. These dollars are put to good use producing and presenting top-quality theatre and arts education programming, plus bringing high-level musicians to the historic Civic Auditorium in St. Croix Falls for concert events. “Corporate sponsors play a huge role in Festival's success formula,” states Pam Fuchs, General Manager of Festival Theatre. “This support from our community is vital, and so appreciated.”
Corporations may designate their sponsorships, as Royal Credit Union did this year and last. RCU is specifically sponsoring the Youth & Family Theatre Series, including the production of “Aesop’s Fables” which just closed last Sunday after a successful two-week run.
Festival Theatre recently learned that it has been approved as a recipient in the Thrivent Choice charitable grant program. Through Thrivent Choice, eligible members of Thrivent Financial are helping support 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations across the country, including Festival Theatre.
Thrivent Choice gives members the opportunity to recommend where some of Thrivent Financial charitable outreach funds go by participating in voting events and directing Choice Dollars. Thanks to members of Thrivent Financial, Festival Theatre will receive funds in support of professional programming throughout the year.
“Our organization is membership-owned and member-governed,” said Brad Hewitt, Thrivent Financial President and CEO. “Thrivent Choice is designed to let members recommend where Thrivent Financial distributes part of its charitable outreach dollars each year and feel more personally involved in Thrivent Financial decision-making.”
