The members of this year’s summer company arrived last week to begin their work on the summer repertory season, which will also include productions of Private Lives and Steel Magnolias. This summer brings back some of Festival’s favorite guest artists, including Jaclyn June Johnson, Festival’s former Artistic Director, who will be playing Mrs. Peacock; Daniel Olson, who appeared in Festival’s production of Man of La Mancha, is returning to play Mr. Boddy; and Mark Baer returns for his sixth summer as a guest artist to directClue.
“It has been a joy to have these three artists back at Festival to work on this show. They all bring the highest level of professionalism and have a true understanding of what our audiences look for in a Festival production,” said Andrew Bradford Benson, Festival’s Interim Artistic Director. “And the other cast members are keeping pace wonderfully, bringing so much energy and creativity to their work. It is a pleasure working with all of them!”
