When stepmother and queen becomes jealous of the young and lovely Snow White, she sends the young woman to a certain death. Yet through kindness and her gentle spirit, Snow White flees and finds herself lost in a dense forest. The Queen’s envious heart is not settled however, as her magical mirror reflects the truth of Snow White’s escape.
Festival Theatre’s Youth & Family Theatre Series was started in 2008 and provides a great opportunity for community participation in the performing arts. “This series provides invaluable experience for young performers in the St. Croix Valley to learn the building blocks of theatre in a fun, collaborative, and engaging setting. I take pride every year in the growth the youth demonstrate throughout this process” says director, Andrew Bradford Benson.
